Hello!!
This is mostly my first ever blog post (I posted one previously but it only contained a photo and one or two sentences).
With this introduction post, I wanted to give my reader, if I have one, a little introduction on myself and what to expect from me and my blog.
I wanted a creative outlet and I finally got my butt in gear and decided to start this blog that I have wanted to start for a long time. The idea of creating and expressing with words, photographs, and videos gets me suuper happy.
My name is Ally and I am 21 years old as of June. I'm a huge animal lover, I adore reading, and I am in love with traveling. Oh yeah, and I also have a borderline obsession with the Sims 4.
I'm currently pursuing a degree in International Development and in September, I will be living in Vietnam for 8 months while I work with a Vietnamese Non-Governmental Organization. A lot of my blog will be focused on both the work I am doing in Vietnam and also the travel I will be doing in and around Vietnam and other Southeast Asian countries.
Like I said before, I am a huge reader. There will definitely be lots of book recommendations, book reviews, and "what's on my list" posts. A good book is one of the best things this life has to offer, and I hope anyone who feels the same might enjoy these posts and get some good ideas.
Recently, I've been getting into photography and really enjoying the editing process afterwards (it's actually probably my favourite part). There will be a gallery on my blog where I’ll put some of my photos..
Finally, since I'm super skilled at organization and also actually really enjoy it, I might throw in a few posts related to organization skills, tips, tricks, and other really FUN stuff.
I'm sooo excited to start this new blog.
